Hi there!

I’m Mercedes Baker, an attorney by profession and artist by design.

Based in Franklin, Tennessee, I split my time between case files and canvases. Outside of the courtroom, I trade petitions for paintbrushes and delve into the world of impasto-style art using heavy-body acrylics.

Through my work, I hope to spark joy and curiosity, inviting you to see the world through my eyes. My paintings feature bright colors and rich textures that reflect the chaos of life. By experimenting with layers and depth, this artistic journey has allowed me to balance the structured world of law with the freedom of creative expression.
